Marilyn Barrett
Marilyn is our
Clinical Coordinator and advisor to the Administrative Staff.
She is a State of
Tennessee, Registered Dental Assistant, and a Nationally
Certified Dental
Assistant (DANB). Marilyn has been in the practice for 33 years
and has worked
with Dr. DeArmond for the past 24 years. She is knowledgeable
of all aspects of
the clinical practice and is actively involved in assisting
patients and
Administrative staff members with coordination of complex dental procedures.
Marilyn has attended
numerous continuing education courses given by some
of the countries most
recognized Dental Clinicians. This knowledge and experience
allows Marilyn to
assist the doctors and patients in all aspects of clinical dentistry.
Her genuine love for
her patients and her profession are obvious in her
enthusiasm. Being able to
watch the children that she treated early in
her career, now bringing their
children to the practice is a source of great pride.
Marilyn has
four children and several grandchildren. Her hobbies are reading,
cooking, and
traveling. She takes great joy in her family, and she seldom
misses an
opportunity to prepare a Sunday evening meal for a weekly family gathering.
